Cologix – Toronto Data Center
In 2012, Cologix developed a 20,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art data center in Toronto, designed to meet concurrent maintainability standards across power, cooling, and security. DCX Technical was engaged to support the conceptual design of the white space, critical power and cooling systems, and equipment selection. Our team provided detailed specifications, coordinated with manufacturers, and delivered submittal drawings to ensure a seamless engineering process.

- 2MW, 2N modular UPS power using Schneider Electric APC Symmetra PX250/500
- Modular power distribution and InRow chilled water cooling
- NetShelter racks with hot aisle containment for thermal efficiency
TD Bank – Research Compute Labs
As a global financial leader, TD Bank relies heavily on robust and efficient infrastructure. DCX Technical supported the design of two new research compute labs in Toronto, providing CFD analysis, conceptual layouts, critical power and cooling system selection, and detailed equipment specifications. Our scope also included preparing a full bill of materials and recommending optimized thermal containment solutions.

Huawei Technologies – Research Compute Lab, Toronto
DCX Technical supported the development of Huawei’s advanced research compute lab in Toronto by delivering conceptual designs, CFD analysis, floor layouts, and comprehensive system specifications for power, cooling, and containment.

Confidential Telecommunications Client – National Data Center Strategy
DCX Technical partners with one of Canada’s leading telecom companies to standardize and design scalable POD-based data center infrastructure across the country. Services include POD architecture, spatial planning, system design, and full equipment specification.

Hypertec – Prefabricated Power Skids (Montreal, Canada)
Client: Hypertec, a global IT solutions provider with strong presence in digital health, FinTech, media, and infrastructure sectors.
Scope:
DCX collaborated with Schneider Electric to support the electrical design and engineering of twelve prefabricated power skids. This included equipment selection, detailed specifications, bill of materials, and submittal documentation.
